This fairly traded, hand felted wool birdhouse is made of sustainably harvested, naturally water repellent wool. Surface moisture from dew, rain or snow quickly dries in the open air. Wool is also naturally dirt and mold resistant. Birds love that their old nests can be removed from the button/string closure on the bottom of the birdhouse. (No one wants to make a home in really old nests!) If this fun birdhouse is kept out of direct sunlight, its colors will stay bright. The sun will, however, bleach out the color after long exposure. The birds don't really care, of course. ;)
